Kathy of the Laramie Dance CenterKathy Vreeland, Owner and Director
A Wyoming native, Kathy has dedicated her life to dancing. She has trained and danced with the country’s finest instructors and professionals and has an extensive dance resume. Dance highlights include Dallas Ballet, Texas; Irving Ballet, Texas; Denver Civic Ballet, Canyon Concert Ballet, Ft. Collins, Co., industrials and trade/stage shows in Las Vegas and many years teaching in Ft. Collins, Cheyenne, and Laramie. Kathy teaches ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and is also Director/Choreographer/Founder of Ballet 7220.








Ali of the Laramie Dance CenterAli Grossman, Adult Ballet and Jazz
Ali received early training at Jordan College Academy of Dance at Butler University, then graduated from the University of Arizona with a BFA. She made her professional dance debut in Disney Productions Opening Ceremonies for the Pan Am Games. She performed professionally with Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company in the Last Supper at Uncle Tom’s Cabin/The Promised Land, which was broadcast internationally by BBC television,company member of Orts Theatre of Dance, Twilight Productions, and Old Tucson Studios. Industrials have included the Copper Bowl, Latin-American Pepsi-Cola, the Addy Awards, Ski-Doo, and Toyota. She has studied under Elliot Feld, Merrill Ashley, Gus Giordano, Frank Hatchett, and Jacques D’Amboise. She directed the performing arts program at The Girls’ Club of Allentown in Pennsylvania( '98-'00). A video producer by day, Ali continues to hone her dance skills as she travels internationally, most recently in Puerto Vallarta, and Vienna. She teaches ballet and jazz , and is a choreographer for Ballet 7220.




Leslie of the Laramie Dance Center Leslie Molaskey, Tap and Modern

Leslie, a Wyoming native, graduated from University of Wyoming with a BA in Theatre and Dance. After graduation, she has continued her involvement in theatre and dance by studying with various guest artists and pursuing her passion in tap, jazz, modern and ballet. She also specializes in teaching dance to students with special needs. Leslie teaches tap and modern, and is also choreographer for Ballet 7220.









Leann Mattis

Leann has 4 years cheerleading experience at Worland High School, where she won State Championship in the All-Girl, Non-Stunting Division 2 years in a row, 1999 and 2000. She won All-Star Honors at UCA Camp, in the summer of 2000. She participated as a University of Wyoming cheerleader for 3 years, and was a University of Wyoming Wildfire Dance Team member for 1 year.










Lindsey of the Laramie Dance Center
Keelia Cox, Irish Step
Keely began her dance training at En Avant Dance Studio in Cheyenne. She has danced for over 15 years and has been trained in Ballet, Lyrical, Modern and Irish Step Dance. She is currently a student at University of Wyoming majoring in Accounting.











David Urquidez, Ballroom

David Urquidez, brings over 20 years of ballroom dancing teaching experience to Laramie Dance Center. David has been ballroom dancing for 40 years. Highlights of David’s career include 13 time National Grand Champion in ballroom. He owns his own dance studio in Cheyenne, and has also taught all over the United States, South America, Spain, Germany, Mexico, and Canada.










Tiffany of the Laramie Dance Center Tiffany Young

Tiffany Young was born and raised in Laramie, Wyoming. She is currently studying at the University of Wyoming, majoring in dance and business.













Jonathan Hedger of the Laramie Dance group 7220Jonathan Hedger

Jonathan has danced for over 10 years. He has trained under some of the finest dancers in the country including Tony Coppolla, Peter Pucci, and John Pennington. He is currently an instructor for Boys Dance at Laramie Dance Center and is finishing up his college education. He enjoys writing, reading, listening to and creating music. This is his 1st year with Ballet 7220.










Brandy Lokar, Belly Dance Technique
Brandy Lokar is originally from Michigan where she was a performing member of the West Michigan School of Middle Eastern Dance since 2004. She has studied under Suhalia Salimpour, Joette Sawall, Nourhan Sharif, Amel Tafsout just to name a few. She has studied the Oriental or Raks Sharki style and Tribal when she studied under the troupe Tribal Core. In addition to dance studies, she holds a BA from Western Michigan University.










Teresa Thompson, Lyrical
Originally from Nebraska, has received extensive dance training in jazz, contemporary and modern. She holds a BFA in Dance Performance from University of Wyoming, and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Dance Therapy and Counseling. She has trained under Tabor Dance Academy, Vincent Brousseau, Jacob Mora, Marsha Knight, and Margaret Wilson. Teresa has studied dance abroad in London.










Dave Jacoby, Accompanist
Dave Jacoby is a multi-instrumentalist, a composer, and a dance accompanist who has worked for several well-known institutions over the years, including University of Wyoming, Colorado State University, University of Colorado and Colorado Ballet, among many others. Adhering to his true love he has maintained a mode of excellence in the Modern Dance and Ballet fields. Dave has recently released a CD entitled "Newmodern" which is entirely written for Modern Dance classes, and draws from his favourite musical genres of the Far East and the Baltic regions. Dave is pleased to be a part of Laramie Dance Center and intends to continue his fruitful relationship with this wonderful institution.








Alysia Klein
As an award winning choreographer in her 12th year instructing dance, Alysia has trained/performed/choreographed professionally in Las Vegas NV, San Diego CA,Portland OR, Hawaii, North Dakota, and Northern Colorado. As a previous studio owner, Alysia is also a nationally certified yoga instructor registered with the Yoga Alliance. Currently, Alysia is the co-director and lead choreographer of the Nicholson-Klein Company; a new Northern Colorado modern dance company. She is currently obtaining her BFA in Dance at the University of Wyoming ultimately leading to Klein's MFA in Dance.








Lauren Caldwell

Lauren has been dancing for 12 years and is a native of Cheyenne, Wy. She has danced with Tolerton School of Dance, En Avant, and Act Two Studios all in Cheyenne. She is currently a student at the University of Wyoming.














Kevin Bretting, Swing Dance
Kevin graduated with a BS in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Wyoming and has been actively involved in Big Band Swing Dancing since 2004. Kevin was the President of the Swing Dancing Club at the University of Wyoming from 2006-2008 and was the leader of their competitive group, the Wyoming Saddle Swingers, during the same time. He has had the opportunity to learn from some of the best dancers from around the world such as the father of the Lindy Hop, the late Frankie Manning, as well as from modern inspirational instructors such as Max Pitruzzella, Annie Trudeau, Skye Humphries, and Frida Segerdahl. He has always enjoyed the energy and creativity of swing music and loves the social atmosphere that encompasses swing dancing.
















We strive to bring in world class instructors and dance teachers from other cities and studios to give our students the highest quality master classes and exposure to other forms of dance. Master Classes are usually held on Saturdays, and we post notices to let our students know when they are being held. Classes are offered to students at a very minimal fee. Laramie Dance Center offers choreography and coaching for individuals as well as groups. If you are in need of private lessons in any dance form, we are able to customize a class(es) for you. We encourage dance teams, gymnasts, and baton twirlers to come to our classes! We bring over 25 years dance experience to Laramie that we are proud to share with you.
