Hello Laramie Dance & Arts Center Families,
It’s time for the Big Event – our Night at the Museum Recital! We have posters available if you’d like to take one to your favorite place – or office – in Laramie and help spread the word!
Our recital is FREE to attend, and we’re very proud of that – so please invite & share, as this is a fun & free activity for Laramigoes to see our talented dancers in action!
Recital Location: NEW LHS Auditorium
Recital Times:
- Rehearsal Friday, June 2: Drop off at 5:00-5:15 in the LHS cafeteria, Rehearsal begins at 5:30
- Recital Saturday, June 3: Drop off from 12-12:30, Recital begins at 1 –> If you have a picture time at recital, please come then!
DROP OFF PROCEDURE: Please see the table in the hallway when you arrive at the cafeteria. ALL dancers must be checked in/out by a parent or other adult authorized to do so. We’ll ask you to sign your child in and provide an emergency contact during the event. We’ll also ask you to sign your child out. This is VERY important, as it helps us keep track of everyone and keep kiddos together and safely in our care. Thank you for your assistance & patience!
IF YOUR DANCER HAS A MEDICAL NEED for Rehearsal & Recital Day, please see us for an Emergency Medical Form to fill out beforehand. We will have extras at LHS in case you forget!
Please bring snacks and a water bottle for your child. Please send food & drink that is non staining, and for the safety of our severely allergic kiddos, please refrain from sending nuts & nut products. Please refrain from sending expensive electronic devices to use as entertainment in the cafeteria – we’d hate to see anything lost and we cannot be responsible. Thank you!
Class pictures IN COSTUME with hair & makeup done are happening the week of May 29, during class (exception of Monday classes & Saturday Baby Ballet). Individual pictures are available if you’d like at that same time. There is NO obligation to order pictures or have them done, but we’d appreciate a great class shot with everyone. We’re happy to answer any picture concerns/questions. Please read on for picture times for Monday & Saturday Baby Ballet …

PreDance 1115 am – On recital day, before recital at LHS at 12:15
Ballet/Jazz 2 – On recital day, before recital at LHS at 12:25
Ballet/Jazz 1 – On recital day, before recital at LHS at 12:30
Kids Hip Hop – On recital day, before or perhaps during recital as time permits at LHS
Teen Hip Hop – On dress rehearsal night at LHS
Belly Dance – On rehearsal night at LHS
Adult Beginning Ballet – On rehearsal night at LHS
- Saturday Baby Ballet picture time: June 3 at 9 am at Laramie Dance & Arts Center
Video order forms from Jaime Cruz Videography are available before or at the recital! Makes an easy keepsake for you!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for the Cafeteria! We’ll need parents to help with the younger kids in the cafeteria – entertainment, hair/makeup/costume needs, organizing groups of kids. Please call 742.6767, email owner@laramiedancecenter.com or use the sign up sheet in the lobby way to sign up!

You have the option of purchasing a Laramie Dance & Arts Center T-shirt. Please note: the style and look of the shirts will vary slightly from last year. We’ll have them available at LHS to purchase!

- We can also order T-shirts with ‘Dance Mom’ or ‘Dance Dad’ added to the back!
